Plastic Recycling Site

Please follow these simple guidelines when using the plastic recycling facilities.

Plastic Bottle Bins

(Please remove lids and crush where possible)

• Recycle Any bottle made from plastic

• Margarine tubs
• Yoghurt pots
• Plastic Trays

The council cannot accept these materials as they are made from a different type of plastic that is not accepted by the reprocessor.

Plastic Film Bins

• Carrier bags
• Plastic wrapping (e.g. from kitchen and toilet roll)
• Plastic wrapping from around magazines and mail

• Plastic film that is contaminated with food
